Life endures...

Like most artists, there was a time when I was young and impressionable and extremely unsure about my style, training, or direction. But I was NOT confused about my love of the arts. I had attained my first degree in Professional Design, but wasn't at all sure what trajectory to take. Eventually I earned a second degree in Fine Art Education so I could teach, and then a Masters degree in Media, Tech and Design so I could create and teach within the updated world of the internet and social media.

I still felt that I was creating and teaching for others and at times that wasn't fulfilling. So I created and cultivated Repertoire Art & Design in 2012. It allowed me to create and share within a business - and I loved it. I could morph and change and experiment to my heart's desire. I did shows and opened my own gallery. I took on my own commissions and supported other artists in their journeys. I created art, design, photography, mixed media, and collage. I began writing and journaling and shared these ideas with others. I combined my creative lives with other passions like yoga, and soon a new direction was born for me personally and professionally. And recently, I learned surface pattern design

During any and all of these stages of my life and artistic career, I have found myself more completely in the process and passion. I have found that cultivating a more inspired, artistic life is what I do best. So although sometimes my signature style stretches far and wide, I stand in my own power and my own creativity.

I am well into the 6th decade of my life, and the 5th decade of being an artist. So whether amateur or professional, art has been my life, journey and story. Check out my latest website, including pages of blog posts for more on all of my dreams, thoughts, and passions. Maybe you will connect with some of these yourself. Or maybe you have a friend to share my posts with. But either way, I hope that over time, something here will resonate with you.

Cheers!
